"Sheldon provided me a formula for success that took into account my individual needs andmy business. Beginning with his comprehensive intake form and several personal interviews, Sheldon worked with me to develop both a marketing plan, and a disciplined approach to its execution. I am confident as ever that the plan we devised and lessons I learned are vital to my business success. Thanks so much Sheldon!"

"Sheldon's ability to understand his clients' situation, help them clarify their goals, lead them in developing a plan of action and then assisting in the implementation of that plan is unsurpassed. Sheldon's work with me has had a reinvigorating effect that's translated into both renewed sales success and a rekindling of my love for my work. Sheldon is an absolute pleasure to work with; his enthusiasm and energy is contagious. He loves what he does - and he has no greater joy than in seeing the tangible product of his work as exemplified by his clients' successes. I now have a systematic, effective and sustainable prospecting methodology that is achieving both our primary - as well as many secondary - sales and marketing goals. Thank you Steady Sales!"

"I heard Sheldon speak alongside two deans of business schools. Sheldon was not only so much more engaging than his co-presenters, but also gave real-world concepts and real-world examples. Most important, at the end I knew what to do with the information--how to apply it. Check him out if you're looking to grow your business.”

Philosophy

Steady Sales cures a lot of problems.

Although it may sometimes seem like brain surgery, it is actually quite simple - just not necessarily easy.

The innumerable techniques, tips, programs, processes, models, etc. I have encountered boil down to these five elemental truths.

Five Elemental Truths:

  1. You must operate within your character.
  2. You must speak less and listen more.
  3. You must orient toward adding value.
  4. You must expend effort only on those with whom there is a mutual basis for doing business.
  5. You must ask for the business.

Influences:

My approach and philosophy are informed by the writings and teachings of many luminaries in the field of sales, marketing and personal development including:

  • Jay Conrad Levinson's — Guerrilla Marketing series of books

  • Marty Neumeier's — The Brand Gap

  • Joseph Pine and James Gilmore's - The Experience Economy

  • T. Harv Ecker - Secrets of the Millionaire Mind

  • Tim Sanders - Love is the Killer App

  • CJ Haydens's — Get Clients Now

  • Geshe Michael Roach's The Diamond Cutter

  • Steven Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

  • Jacques Werth's High Probability Selling

  • Jim Holden's Power Base Selling ö Secrets of an Ivy League Street Fighter

  • Michael Gerber's E-Myth

  • Richard Bach, Tich Nhat Hanh, Gandhi, and many others
